Back-to-School: KCFH Distributes Learning Materials to 200 Children

As the new school year began, Kakuma Child Future Hub distributed learning materials to 200 vulnerable children across Kakuma Refugee Camp and the surrounding host community.

Each child received a school uniform, exercise books, pens, pencils, a school bag, and other essential supplies. For many families, the cost of these items is a significant barrier to education. By removing this obstacle, we help ensure that children can attend school with dignity and focus on their learning.

The distribution event was made possible through the generosity of our partners and individual supporters. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed.

One parent shared: 'My daughter was worried she would not have books to write in. Now she has everything she needs and she is so happy to go to school.'

KCFH remains committed to ensuring that every child in Kakuma has access to quality education. We plan to conduct another distribution later this year and welcome support from partners and donors to reach even more children.
