Child Protection & Safeguarding
To promote and protect the rights and well-being of vulnerable children, including refugee and host-community children, by establishing community-based child safeguarding mechanisms, raising awareness on child rights, and preventing and responding to abuse, exploitation, and neglect.
Education Access & Quality Learning
To improve access to quality education for children and youth in Kakuma Refugee Camp and surrounding host communities by supporting early childhood development, providing learning materials, facilitating school enrolment and retention, and promoting life skills and vocational training.
Disability Inclusion & Empowerment
To advance the inclusion, dignity, and empowerment of children and persons with disabilities by advocating for accessible services, providing assistive support, and creating inclusive programmes that enable full participation in community life.
Peacebuilding & Social Cohesion
To foster peaceful coexistence and social cohesion between refugee and host communities by facilitating inter-community dialogue, joint initiatives, conflict resolution, and activities that build trust and mutual understanding.
Community Development & Partnerships
To strengthen community-driven development by mobilising resources, building partnerships with government, UN agencies, NGOs, and the private sector, and empowering local leaders, volunteers, and caregivers to sustainably support children and families.
