Working Together for Greater Impact
Kakuma Child Future Hub recognises that no single organisation can solve the complex challenges facing children in refugee and host communities. We actively seek partnerships with government agencies, United Nations organisations, non-governmental organisations, the private sector, and community leaders to amplify our impact and ensure sustainable, coordinated support for the communities we serve.
Our constitution specifically names UNICEF, UNHCR, and Terre des Hommes (TDH) as examples of the types of international partners we seek to collaborate with. We welcome inquiries from any organisation that shares our commitment to child protection, education, disability inclusion, and peacebuilding.
Types of Partners We Work With
We collaborate across sectors to bring the best resources, expertise, and support to the children and communities of Kakuma.
Government Agencies
We work with national and county government departments to align our programmes with public policy and access government services for the communities we serve.
UN Agencies
We seek partnership with UN agencies including UNICEF, UNHCR, and Terre des Hommes (TDH) to leverage international expertise and resources for child protection, education, and refugee support.
Non-Governmental Organisations
We collaborate with local and international NGOs to share knowledge, coordinate efforts, and maximise impact for children and communities in Kakuma.
Private Sector
We engage private companies and businesses through corporate social responsibility partnerships, resource mobilisation, and skills-based volunteering.
Community Leaders
We work hand-in-hand with community leaders, elders, and representatives to ensure our programmes are community-owned and culturally appropriate.
Become a Partner
If your organisation is interested in partnering with KCFH, we would love to hear from you. Whether you represent a government agency, a UN organisation, an NGO, a private company, or a community group — there are many ways we can work together.
Partnership opportunities include joint programme delivery, resource mobilisation, technical assistance, capacity building, advocacy, and in-kind support. We are committed to transparent, accountable, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
